Welcome to JiffyTax. By using our service at jiffytax.ca or app.jiffytax.ca, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
JiffyTax is a Canadian HST tracking tool owned and operated by Claudia Chopik, a sole proprietor based in Ontario, Canada. JiffyTax helps self-employed individuals, freelancers, independent contractors, and realtors track HST paid on business expenses and HST collected on invoices.
You must be at least 16 years old and a resident of Canada to use JiffyTax. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you enter into the app.
JiffyTax is a tracking and organizational tool only. It does not constitute professional tax, legal, or accounting advice. You should consult a qualified accountant or tax professional for advice specific to your situation.
JiffyTax offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Subscriptions purchased on the web at jiffytax.ca are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, our payment processor. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
If you subscribe to JiffyTax Pro through the Apple App Store, your purchase, billing, and any refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and the standard Apple End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. To request a refund for an App Store purchase, please contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you subscribed through jiffytax.ca and are not satisfied with JiffyTax Pro, you may request a full refund within 21 days of your initial purchase by contacting us at support@jiffytax.ca. Refund requests made after 21 days of purchase will not be eligible.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you subscribed through jiffytax.ca, you can cancel from your account settings within the app, or by contacting us at support@jiffytax.ca. If you subscribed through the App Store, manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period and will not be charged again after cancellation.
You own your data. JiffyTax does not sell your personal information to third parties. Receipt images are processed using AI technology solely to extract tax information for your records.
We strive to keep JiffyTax available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
